On March 24, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Holy See, Mr. Shin Hyung-sik, hosted a working lunch with the President of the Foundation, Mr. Daniele Bruno, and the Secretary of the Dicastery for Laity, Family, and Life, Mr. Gleison De Paula Souza.

Ms. Pamela Fabiano, member of the Foundation and head of communications for the Dicastery for Laity, Family, and Life, was also present along with the Ambassador’s wife.

For the John Paul II Youth Foundation, this cordial meeting provided an opportunity to share the progress of the work, the objectives, and the themes of the Foundation’s upcoming 5th Conference, which will be held as part of WYD Seoul 2027. Other topics regarding possible forms of cooperation in preparation for WYD were addressed and discussed.

The Foundation’s representatives thanked the Ambassador for his patronage and support for the Conference, which, since the 2013 World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro, has been held on the occasion of every World Youth Day.
